Blabber has gone silent these days...
Today I finished member management, implemented char limit in frontend with hyperscript and in the backend, enforced usernames and constellation names with regex also both in frontend and backend. I also implemented user and constellation mentions, but those are buggy at the moment.
Yesterday I forgot to make a daily update, but in the nutshell I implemented replies, added more customizable fields to user and greatly improved the design.
Today I implemented Markdown support for Constellations. Now it supports not only original spec, but also tables, task lists (like those in GitHub issues), and Mermaid graphs. The HTML sanitizer in the parser is a little bit too aggressive, that you can't even post HTML in code blocks.
Slowly progressing on Constellations. I already implemented a lot of features, including login and invites. Now working on constellation moderation. Also, if you want, you can check this project in GitHub: https://github.com/Tasty-Kiwi/constellations
I was using firebase realtime database, because you can just use http requests to access it and it works like a large json document. Its rules are in this weird json format.
Wall of text has, like, 0 security. You could just make an API request to nuke the whole db without any permissions. Yes, I was trying to get sign-ups working, but it's Firebase, so it's not easy to do.
